Easy Lives

Make your way to world 5-3 and pull up the first few plants to find a shell. Carry it over to the brick ledges and toss it into any small space you can, making sure it bounces back and forth. As the birds toss the Bob-Ombs onto the ground, the shell will plow through the bombs and kill them, netting you higher and higher points... and finally, lives. After 8 bombs, every bomb killed gives you an extra life!

Press SELECT and the R button together to put the game into Sleep Mode -- the screen with deactivate and the game will pause. Press SELECT and L to turn it back on.

Every time you toss a giant Shyguy, Ninji, or other gigantic bad guy onto the ground, they will give you a heart. As long as you don't smack it into another enemy (and thus kill it), you will get a heart each time!

1) World 1-3 to World 4: Carry a potion to the end of the outside world. When you reach a door and a jar, toss the potion, enter the door, and go down the jar.

2) World 3-1 to World 5: Enter the first door you see and jump down the pit... fall down the center and you will find a tiny platform with a door. Enter the door and pull plants until you find a potion. Carry it to the end of the room, where the jar is, toss the potion, enter the new door, and go down the jar.

3) World 4-2 to World 6: In the section with the whales, you will see one whale with a jar on his back. Toss a potion there, enter the door, and go down the jar.

4) World 5-3 to World 7: Climb the ladder, then use Luigi to super jump onto the ledge right above the ladder. Use a potion and go down the jar!

Once you beat the game, you can replay the various levels to find hidden Yoshi eggs! These eggs are hidden in "Subspace", the area you enter when you walk into a door made by a potion. If you die during a level, you lose the eggs you gathered and have to try again!
